Introduction:

SEDT trust had founded by Mr.M. Muthusamy, a Social Worker being in the field for more than 25 years with the vision to support and develop socially and economically weaker section of the community. He has been working in different social field such as Children education, children rights, child labor eradication, women empowerment through socio economic development, environment education, civic rights education and enablement, unorganized laborers, health and nutrition projects etc.  With his vast experience in the social sector, he had planned to promote a trust along with likeminded people.  The board of trustees was appointed according to the social experience and past contributions to the society.  He evolved the main objects focusing the current issues and need of the economically downtrodden and socially vulnerable community.  He registered the trust on 30th December 2021 and started the activities immediately with the support of the local volunteers and donors.

Mission:

SEDT concentrates on children development where it supports their family through socio economic development and environmental conservation efforts towards holistic development.
